Recent email service upgrades

Dear valued customer of Connect Global Australia,

The Pop/Imap Email service has been upgraded!

To vastly improve the reliability and performance of the Pop-Imap email service, the service has been migrated to Amazon Web Service hosted cPanel.

This new system provided by AWS (Amazon Web Service) is robust, reliable and lightning fast.

This upgrade is now complete, and your domain has been migrated to the newly upgraded service.

What you need to do...

You will need to make some minor changes to your email client settings to have your computer or other device connect to the new service correctly.

Forgotten or lost email account passwords

Email passwords are only stored in an encrypted format and cannot be retrieved or 'looked up'. Therefore, if you have forgotten or lost your email password, or if for some other reason your email password no longer works, the password will need to be reset.

Webmail is a facility that allows you to access your email from any computer or device that is connected to the internet. This allows you to easily use your email while on the road or away from your regular computer.

Accessing the Console

Connect Global Console allows you to manage your hosting services and other settings, such as:

- add/remove/manage email accounts
- change email account passwords
- manage email aliases, forwarding addresses and auto-responders (also known as out-of-office responses)
- manage your domain names
- manage your DNS (Domain Name Service) hosting
- plus much more...

You can access console by following these steps:

Step 1. Go to the Connect Global website at www.connectglobal.com
Step 2. Click on the 'console login' link
Step 3. Enter your Account reference and associated password and click 'Log in'.

Please note that your account reference and password are case-sensitive.

Forgotten or lost console passwords

Console passwords are only stored in an encrypted format and cannot be retrieved or 'looked up'. Therefore, if you have forgotten or lost your console password, or if for some other reason your console password no longer works, the password will need to be reset.

Note that this will also provide you with your account reference (also known as 'Login')
